Sunday 6/6 ORCRC Pictures!!!!

Alright.. I'll step up and say it, ORCRC is going to gather again to do some crawling! It'll be somewhere in the PDX area... Probably High Rocks but we are all on the lookout for something new to try.

If the weather is going to be nice and if we're going to be crawling at High Rocks it'll need to be on the earlier side of things, like 9-10AM at least! They have lifeguards hanging out there now as the swimmers and cliff jumpers are in full heat.

HIGH ROCKS.... Sunday, 11:30AM!!

If you need directions just reply here, PM me or check this link and you'll see the general location. This is actually the link to find the DMV that is nearby but on the map it shows High Rocks Park location. There are no signs pointing towards the park, it's just a small paved pathway going down a hill towards the river.

If it gets hot, there is no shade. If it starts to rain(50/50 chance looks like) then we'll think up some ideas. No power on site, so charge all the batteries you got!. There is a McD's, Safeway, Harley Davidson shop on the same street... LHS, mall and lots more within 3 miles.

Jordan... sorry no one contacted you via this board, most of us were on the road headed there at this time.....

No, the event was not cancled, this is Oregon. We have to work with what we have Rain, shine, snow, wind, rain, etc.... it's all good!!

It was a decent day. About 5 folks showed up, 5 trucks ran. 2 trucks dropped out kinda early, Ryan's X-Factor hybrid broke something and Don had to take off but his Maxx hybrid ran quite well. I snapped a few pictures but my web host server is down and I'm unable to upload pics yet. Ryan's little TLT wasn't affriad of a little water, okay it sunk a good 1.5' under water Still ran thanks to water proof ESC. We had the onsite EMT/Lifeguards watching as we were the only people down on the rocks today.

It was rainy for about the first hour, light rain, more anoying than really wet. It started to clear up and the bugs came out. I broke a front slider and my tranny is toast, this time I really need to fix it Jason's TXT did really really well. He staid out of the deeper water holes but little Tater-Tot and Ryan's TLT went for dips.

I'm just rambling now.... damn server This is wrong, I have to upload pictures!! Need to find my alternate server now... just have to remember the passwords Give me a few minutes and I'll have some pics up......

Okay.. my server seems to be back up now... after I went into one of my clubs back doors and stole some space without asking I'm so lost now... pictures should be up in a few....

Waterproof ESC It was quite funny the first time it went down. The EMT's came over to watch too

Next Sunday... yeah, Not sure what's going on. I have no tranny I found out. I could replace the few gears that are toast or start over with a new tranny. I was given the okay to find a new one from the "boss"..... so who knows when I can do any crawling next.
