Default ORCRC..Sunday March 6th, Spring Park!!

ORCRC's new spot is a bit too big. There is basicly no way to cover all the terrain in one day. Nor does anyone have enough battery packs to make sure their trucks sees all of the park.

Several of us got together today for the weekly ORCRC Sunday outting. Mostly TLT based rigs and a TXT and a Clod also joined in the fun. Oh, did I mention that 3 CC based rigs showed up? No, well they did. For those that don't know, ORCRC is starting a Cross Country based class for certain competitions. The rules are simple and can be seen in our section on RCJimsplace.

On to a few of the pictures I took today. I'm sure Ryan will have some video edited up later for everyone to enjoy..... it was video mania today.

Small portion of the park/island.....

Dave gettin' it awn....

Fast little buggers....

I done and broke ma little truck.....

New tire testing method only done by ORCRC officials......

For being leaf sprung this little TLT rig does pretty well...

Exo-cage testing....

That's all I got folks... hopefully Ryan will post up with some of his pictures/video.

Default Awesome!!!

I have no idea how you got a perfect still of the humv in mid air. That is the coolest set of pics that you have posted up in a long time.

Just an update on the hummer:

Motor is completly cooked. I cleaned it out and checked the brushes and comm cleaned both truck ran for about ten minutes then acted like it had a dead pack. Swapped in the 540 can motor and ran for another 25 min on the same pack.

Crawls alot better with the silver can motor. Just not the insane top speed runner it was.

Servo is A O.K. I cannot believe that it came back to life after the swamp.

All in all the hummer is a ton of fun to drive. I have to head out to the garage to glue up the tires now.

Nice pics Brett.

Thats awsome! I wish there was a bigger crawling scene out here in Ohio. I'm tired of crawling by myself!

Nice pics Brett! Looks like you had some more fun after I left! I had a blast, it was nice to meet everyone and finally get my new TLT out there for a test run. The BULU2 chassis really is nice! Can't wait to see the video!
