6 Attachment(s) These pics are from Crescent lake in central Oregon off highway 58 willamete pass. It was a good time with lots of lines to run. Not much of any hill climbs other than some 3 ft. boulders. Only thing is late spring will be the next time to get on these rocks due to the snow. |
Central Oregon Crawl Spots Juniper Elementary & Pilot Butte Middle School have some nice rock piles with great lines http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...icture0062.jpg Sawyer Park has good crawlin' and trail running http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...arch070172.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q.../Feb070032.jpg |
Are there any indoor places in oregon to crawl? |
Or my back yard? I have 1 nicely sized course(should load my pictures and post them someday) and a good enough pile of rocks. Once I lay out the course better and set up the rocks it will be easily large enough for supers... I have a SuperTXT and 2 2.2s and my bro has a 2.2 so total of 5 rigs have been driving on it at once 8) (only my bros rig is running right now though LOL. I upgrade mine to much) I live in Scappoose btw ;-) |

Nope just the place I said mainly.. my back yard(parents  ) I dont really know of anywhere in town that would be good(construction sites, but they dont like people playing in there) We built are course out of 4x8ft of plywood, chicken wire, spray in foam and covered it with concrete. (still needs a little work) I will be getting home around 5 tonight I will try and take a few pictures of the setup(before dark) and like I said it could be easy big enough for supers if i just moved the many many rocks into place(we have a huge pile of rocks but it gets boring fast, making the course made it a lot funner to crawl) |
McCormick Park in Saint Helens right as you come into the park: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1224.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1225.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1227.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1228.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1229.jpg take your first left in the park and its right beyond the picnic area: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1234.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1235.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1236.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1237.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1238.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1/100_1239.jpg |
Hey I know exactly where that is, i've always wanted to take my crawler there, but I havent gotten it done yet. looks like an awsome spot"thumbsup" |
that is a nice find. have to get out of crawlin in the back yard and go |
i had a blast out there. the moss made it difficult as it was wet. but i think the moss covered rock area by the picnic area would make a great rock race course |

the Coast 5 Attachment(s) I went to the coast north of Florence and found alot of rock to be had, they were every where. This is by far the best place I have found. Just drive up the coast an you will find all kinds of rocks. This time I was lucky though the tide was out. |
