1)I've been into crawling for about 2 years now, with a lot of failed designs along the way.

2)I found a bullhead (Europe's clod) in my garage.

3)Still on the first truck, but the millionth design.

For the servo, search on ebay for "MG995". You should find the Towerpro MG995, it's got 208.2oz/in (15kg/cm) of torque at 6v.

Thumbs up

A BIG thanks to ALL who came today to the BUXTON area 1st meet.
There was a lot more than expected which made for a good day out.
We're Now on the lookout for a better place and hopefully at some point soon hold the 1st true crawl meet/comp.
SO please GUY'S/GAL'S that turned up bring your ideas forward and they'll be checked and tested.

Again Thanks all.Steve.

This might sound a silly idea but I have thought of building a course or something at home. I have a piece of land about 40 feet by 70 feet that is unused and is totally private. I have rocks, bricks, soil, and paving slabs available. I thought if there was anyone local it might be a good place to meet up. It also has lighting and so can be crawled in the dark. Dont know what you guys think.

I am in a village called Hunmanby. It is 10 miles south of Scarborough. 10 miles north of Bridlington. 40 miles east of York. Post code. YO14

Thanks too the people involved for organising the meet , wish i'd made it in the morning instead of the afternoon but i seem to have a teenage problem case of a truck at the mo but i'll hopefully get things iron'd out before the next meet .
Anyway can't wait till next time

Cheers
Steve

Hey Tronk sounds like you could be onto somthing , you could make a great course on a bit of land that size and lights as well .
Can you just move it all about 200 miles south to the midlands lol
Hope you get some intrest and get a course made , Could be an idea for a weekend away in the summer .

Oh man I wish I could have been there, I wish I lived 160 miles further north, and I wish I could find some damn rocks to crawl around here!

Edit: Steanlol: Do you have a crawler? You're not too far from me, could maybe have a southeners meet.

Hmmmm... The stuff I mentioned in post #69, and maybe some LST tyres. I'm also gonna try and make my Tracker buggy into a 12v, 12 turn brushed monster
