Sounds like you're off to a good start then. Be sure to show us pics when you're done, and don't be afraid to ask any of us for help, but I've heard some of the Nylint froum guys can be a bit sad.

Hi, I am new to r/c and have a Super Clodbuster on order from my local model store. It should arrive around mid-January and I am already researching how to modify it for crawling. Once up and running, I'd be interested in a meet.

Welcome to the site chaps. I am sure you will find lots of things to entertain you here. It is just a shame that everyone who seems to join is so far south. Perhaps you could change jobs and move further up north. It would make a meet easier. |

sorry guys i chopped up the range rover shell to go on the k2. The rear arches were in the wrong place so i cut off most of the rear from behid the front doors and bedded it. Ill be filling in the gaps and making the bed out of esca board, its grey 2mm and what is used for hard back covers on books, the fiberglass over it all. I look forward to showing you all some pics real soon

Hey guys, me and 2 other guys have been running our modified XC's and F350 here in Thetford forest. Not too many rocks to climb but trees and small holes makes it very fun. Don't forget the mud holes. So far we've done it twice and the run lasts from 830 a.m. until about 11 a.m. so your day isn't wasted. Just pm me if you'd like to know when and where. Up for a change if you know a good local place.

I'm not Manx but I've lived on the Isle of Man since 1975 Got into RC cars in '78, spent too much on them during my life to contemplate, up until now 1:12th carpet was my favourite class in my hobby by far and I've had alsorts over the years ...then I bought a XR10 with a load of hopups off a great guy on here and I absolutely love it, spending 4 hours of a sunday afternoon just driving as opposed to four 10 minute races on race night with the 1:12th (we race 10 minutes because the batteries are so good now) just doesn't compare, and the number of people who just stop and watch in amazement is very satisfying ...I also have a couple of rc drifters and run a well known rc drift forum Kev |
