Awesome! Not too far from me either. Is that all of the rocks, or is there any more?

steanlol 11-25-2006 02:11 PM

There's more further down the bottom of the site , plenty of loose ones so you can build anything you want , somthing for all types of RC car's really .

MadMax 11-25-2006 02:39 PM

Now that's more like it.

steanlol 11-25-2006 02:42 PM

Anyone got a cheap source for tennis balls to use as markers??

steanlol 11-25-2006 03:00 PM

Wrong time of year for being a ball boy
Hmmmmmmmmm tennis balls now where can i get some of them from

4link4eva 11-25-2006 03:05 PM

We can't exactly hold a comp with 3 people, it'd probably just be a bash.

steanlol 11-25-2006 03:24 PM

I guess the first thing to do would be to have a bash there and while there make up a course and pick out some lines , a pair of pruning shears and gloves may be needed in some spots to cut back the odd branch or bramble to make it easier to pass thro .
Plenty of options tho as its a fairly big site compared to where we were at buxton , but no stream to run thro tho :-(

wallaz 11-26-2006 02:36 AM

I might be able to make it down there, it's a bit of a hike though and would probably take at least 2.1/2" hours. I's also have to pinch wor lasses car instead of using the gas guzzling Discovery.

No stream......not good. :-(

What type of rigs are everyone running, I've got TLT and may have my Boyer Clod as well.

TLT's on 27AM and Boyer is on 40FM, although I have another set of crystals I could use.

Lets know what's happening.

Cheers

Ian

My clod (click the link in my sig) has a couple of crystals, "yellow 4" and "green 5".

steanlol 11-26-2006 04:17 AM

There is a brook in the woods but i think it'd be a bit too deep to play in , unless you got floatation tyres
Im on 27mhz with 1,3,6 xtals
My clod has just been added to the pic's above .

Moondust1950 11-26-2006 09:04 AM

If there is any one up north. has any1 ever been to dalby forest.

There is a bit of every thing. there are rivers, rocks, small but deep about 20ft deep pits.

Maybe if there is enough people we could go for a bash there or perhaps a comp?

regards

james

biggusditchus 11-26-2006 09:14 AM

Steanlol, if im off from work I would be up for a bash there.

steanlol 11-26-2006 11:11 AM

We need to get a list up of names then who's coming for a bash/crawl and when your free , idealy it'll be at the weekend .

Moondust1950 11-26-2006 11:17 AM

Won't it be better after xmas?

4link4eva 11-26-2006 11:29 AM

^^The kid's got a point, since most of us will get a whole bunch of goodies for xmas, we'd be more able after then. We could even do a comp!
