Default Tuber body panels

I know this may be a dumb question, but when you guys make aluminum panels for tubers and you use energy drink logos, do you use the actual can its self, or do you mount pieces of the can onto another piece of aluminum?

Just cut the drink can itself. I use "real" aluminum panel (i.e. sheets of aluminum cut to size) not much thicker than energy drink/pop cans. Even if you trash them, they're cheap to replace!

What I'm going to do is try to glue the part of the monster can I want on my panel to the back side of a peice of lexan, paint over it then maybe get it laminated if I think it needs it. I just hope I can find the right glue and get it sealed all the way around the peice I'm using so no paint gets under it and on the peice of can I'm using.

On mine, I tried using the can but the aluminum can was a little weaker then I wanted....I also couldn't find anymore of the tall boy assault cans :?
I ended up finding some stickers of the actual can however and have applied that to some aluminum plate that I found at HobbyLobby. It is a little thicker but still pretty thin, actually cut it with scissors. There are pics in the assault buggy link in my sig.
