Proline Courier

Thanks to Brandon I finally got my hands on a new one in bag.

Thanks again. I will post up what I do with it very soon.

Going to use that Xtrail and something with it. I am scouring for some cool pics on the net to get some ideas.

If anyone has any ideas post them up.

I have some 1.5's and 2" street tires around here somewhere I will send to ya

Lifted! Would look cool with HL tires or 1.9 slingers on it. Make sure it has some SPEED

11.1 with a Sidewinder and maybe a 19 turn....

Dude I got 3 I tried to sell a few months back and no one wanted them! Glad to see somebody doing another Courier, one of my favorite all time little trucks!

FrankyRizzo 04-18-2008 05:04 PM

I have had a couple and they made great comp rigs because they were small and tight. I think the last one I had went with the last comp rig I sold a while ago.

metomwhou 04-18-2008 05:08 PM

Yep, I've been trying to decide what to do with one. Maybe put it over a k2-5 or my new Diaz knock-off courtesy of Bluemonster, eventually!
I've seen some really cool huntin' trucks down in Miss. so I might try that someday. Can't wait to see your new build, I bet the X-trail will go nicely!

Perfect.

I dropped that in my Hilux but with a 55 turn. Way cool having 11.1 on tap.

For sure, thats what I run in all my scalers! Remeber the G Wagen I had? It was running around at 06 nats with a 19t in it on only 6 cells. It was a freaking blast.

I'm indifferent. Painted would be cool, but I really dig the idea of a Ford Courier body and just want to see what it looks like.

I learned how to drive stick on a Courier years ago.I might have to pick one up for old times sake. Now if i can just remember where to put all the scratches and dents it would feel just like the old days!!!

FrankyRizzo 04-21-2008 12:04 PM

This is what I was thinking of doing...

Xtrial with Axial axles. Trail Dr's (original 3.5" ones) HPI Stocker wheels. I have the Surfboard from my Hilux kit.

Spicoli's Ride???

Dirk recommended a smoker for the interior and a cracked window.
