Yeah, unfortunately 70's AMC's are notorious for rotting out the tops of the fenders before anything else. There's this big C-channel under that spot that collects a bunch of crud and then... well, they look like the Gremmie there. I've got more Ideas guys, stay tuned. |

I haven't seen it with the new body work yet but even before, this thing looks freakin awesome in person.

Sweet! I have always liked this build. I should have got the Pinto when I had the chance, but I put it back on the shelf...What was I thinking! |

I've always liked this thing and great job on the "rust". What it Really needs is a busted tail light lens with the red clear tape repair! There used to be a Mavrick running around the woods up north here in Michigan when I was younger and that thing was just like this one, Big and Ugly but Very functionable! Great job and keep us posted on updates!

I thought you would get a kick out of this AMC Eagle SX4 so I took some pics last time I went to Wyoming. It is riding on 36" Swampers and EB axles and is powered by a 351 if I remember correctly. The guy who built it owns Evolution 4x4 in Casper, WY. |
