| Sand/Stone/Cream lexan paint?
Does anyone know if you can get tan, sand, cream, stone or beige coloured lexan paint in rattle cans? Needs to be in a spray can as I don't have an airbrush. I'm looking for something like these below. I'm really after sand or cream but anything thats light brown or pale shades of it I'd consider but just can't find anything in a can. If anyone knows of a supplier and the colour I'd really appreciate it. Last edited by Agent Orange; 10-19-2008 at 02:21 PM. |

I've looked through the Tamiya range of PS sprays and can find nothing that looks similar. Am I missing something obvious?

There is no such color as a "tan" or "sand stone". You will have to mix it yourself with Faskolor paints and brush it on or use an airbrush.

Bumping this thread since it is so old. Does anyone know if there are any sand-colored paints available now? Tamiya still doesn't have any, according to their chart. Could it work with spraying every other layer e.g. "camel yellow", and every other layer e.g. white to "thin it out" a bit? |

I just found a thread for beige colors which recommends Krylon Fusion paints.

Yep, that's my thread. Both available at Walmart and dirt cheap. Some say they don't stick as well as lexan paints. I'm gentle on my cars so we will see. Bottom line both Khaki and Pewter are nice colors.
