Default Testors Lacquer Paint

The Hobby Lobby here sells the Testors Lacquer 2 Step paints. I want to do a body in the SUB-LIME color...this is not available in the PACTRA series of lacquer based paints. Is the Testors line going to hold on to LEXAN? The testors 2 step is a color and a gloss clear...I know that I would skip the gloss...I just want that color. I would be backing all with white or silver. Has anyone tried this series of paint? results? I am just trying to plan a new body that POPS for Indoors in March. Thanks.

Those are the ones I painted the CP2.0 and HPI Ram bodies on my Pede, the Helios bodies on my Axial and E-Revo with as well as a bunch of others. I've had pretty goods luck with them so far, they seem to hold as well as the Pactra paints. Just make sure you don't use the Testors One Coat lacquers! They aren't formulated to work with lexan and will flake right back off like enamals do.

Thanks. I will pick up the colors that I like, and paint up the new body. Maybe it will be in/ready for the SCRC meeting. If not by then, then by the SCRC Feb. Comp.

No problem, just make sure you prep the body just like you would for Pactra paints.
