| Oil Stain!
I recently dripped some lubricant oil on the paint on my body. I can't figure out how to remove it. I was wondering if it was possible to remove it? Do you guys have any ideas? |

lets see, you may just well be screwed and need to repaint the whole thing... its a good posiblity if thats a petroleum based paint on the body. how ever if it isnt you may have a chance, what i would do it wet sand the the paint with a 1000 grit to start, it should be easy to rub out once you've worked it down. see if you can remove that top layer of stained paint, but before i do that id take a good wax and grease remover to it to see if that will take it off..

Try some rubbing alcohol and a clean paper towel. It should not hurt the paint. If that doesn't work you might try some K2-R Spot Remover. Spray it on and let it dry to a powder then wipe it off. We use it on RC fuel airplanes, it will pull the fuel and oil from balsa really well. You'll want to test it out on an inconspicuous place to be sure it doesn't harm the lexan.
