| Dubfunks Styrene snorkle build
Thought i'd post up my snorkle build, again (like my hi lift jack) it's made of styrene! First a rough card template Next layers of styrene glued together Rough glued form prior to sanding Same layering process again for the top of snorkle After shaping and sanding After hours more sanding the bits are ready to be sprayed Rough spray to show up imperfections Ta da! On the Landy Cheers for looking |

Very well done. That looks really good. I need to hunt up a bunch of sheet styrene, I've seen a lot of great looking creations here made up out of nothing more than styrene epoxy and paint. And a snorkel is one of those items you just can't seem to find, you have to make one yourself. Corvette - a snorkel on a truck serves the exact same purpose as a snorkel on a person - it allows either the motor or the lungs to continue to function while the truck or the person is submerged under water. A snorkel on a truck keeps the air intake point as far above the water as possible so water is not drawn into the motor... |

Awesome job I just wished they made styrene thicker so you dont have to glue so many layers and then sand for hours |
