I use Bob Dively's but I shoot it on not brush it. I believe it works just as good brushing as shooting it.

I use Parma's Liquid mask because it doesnt smell like Dively's feet! and just brush it on like 3 or four secent coats allowing it to dry between coats. I generally use either a 1 inch foam brush or the thick testors brush to paint it on.

I switched to Parma from Dively's. I brush mine on and it seems like Dively's is just going on very thin lately. Instead of 3 coats, I end up doing 4 to 5. I don't know... maybe I just got a couple bad batches of Dively's.

i ran a hobby shop for 7 years and learned 2 things about all liquid mask.... if its ordered by the shop in the winter it will freeze in the shipping truck coming from IL and it becomes super thick and almost unusable or it separates after it thaws and takes for ever to mix back up. try thinning it with some water and it should flow better thru a gun or brushing. also, if it sits for a long time on the hobby shop shelf it will spoil. that stuff is starch based and it does go bad over time. the best way to apply it is with an automotive paint touch up gun. get 4 or 5 bodies yogether and shoot them all at the same time. no brush strokes to let your blade wander on when you cut it.
