Default Lexan paint choices are slim - no OD or yes?

So I've searched and have looked everywhere and can't find any OD (olive drab) or Desert Tan lexan paint in spray cans?
Is this correct? I'm really hoping not.
Tamiya or Pactra - whoever does these lexan paints really need to update their paint colors. They have been the same since the early 90's???
:-(

If you key (lightly scuff) the body on the outside, any lacquer based paint will adhere pretty well to the body.

Just hit your local hardware store

TIP: Apply the window masks to the outside of the windows prior to scuffing with a fine scotchbrite pad. Paint, then remove.

Another TIP: Paint the inside of the body (reuse the masks) with rust brown or black or silver. When the paint gets scratched it will look realistic.

im purdy darn sure that those colors are available in Krylon fusion flat colors, and the camo flat colors as well.

i use the black on the outside of the body.

you simply need to scuff up the surface that you will be painting.

i had used fine grit sand paper with great success,

i tried a green brillo pad and it didnt do the trick

Scotchbrite pad works really well for scuffing/keying Lexan.

THANK YOU FOR THE INFO!!! That's awesome. Soo I can just do normal black on the interior, and then (sanding sounds more promising) paint the outside after sanding with Fusion? Or just any Krylon will work on the outside? I think I have rustoleum in black/od - does that work on the outsaide? Or just stick to Fusion?
Also - does anyone have any pics of this? I didn't find anything when I searched.
Thanks!
