Plan on doing my first paint job, will be using rattle cans and will be "practicing" first before applying to the actual body. Question: what tape is recommended for adding graphics? Want to try a simple flame design...don't want to try anything too extravigant! JIGS |

with Lexan and painting the inside, I would go with liquid mask. with a hard body just the blue masking tape will suffice to learn the basics of taping. Then later when you feel you are ready, use the same blue masking tape and regular automotive pinstriping. Just make sure you tape those door and hood gaps really good as those places tend to bleed. | |

Just a little tip, for practice on lexan, use a clear empty 2 litre soda bottle, works well for experimenting with various techniques and masking materials.
