Because Pro-Line has a JEEP license... not a Toyota one.

you know whats funny, we have a bunch of guys crying for an XJ, without the thought of how any lexan XJ isn't going to have the detail to look worth a crap.

A CJ7 could be done with a hardtop AND a CGR version, better marketing.

I'll be honest with you as I work very closly with Parma and I can tell you first hand its a hard battle to get a shell made even if you have the license. In the long run what is and will be finacially the better seller and approved with JEEP/Chrysler is what will be released.

I am glad to see Pro-line willing to make JEEP shells. I wont be putting in my input direct as I dont see it makeing much differance. But if Pro-line is smart and can pull it off they will dabble in a line of JEEP shells and not stick to one design. I personally would really like to see the Huricane Concept shell made and the older JEEP pickups.

Everyone has their own preferance and its hard to find one design that will make everyone happy. So hopefully my thoughts on this will be seen.

Final thought on this is as long as I have been in the business I have come across many shells that have come and go. Its too bad that certain shells are discontinued as many times it was just the shell was brought out at the wrong time. The Pro-line streamliner shells are a big hit now as well as the helios shells for the 1/8th trucks but you have to pay mulah through a seperate owner to get one.

Sure its just business, but it would be nice to see Pro-line re-release shells from time to time.
But Pro-line, if your reading this read this.

Who says there can't be a CGR version of an XJ?
