Default grappler pro question

i have painted 15+ full sized bodies in my rc career (nothing great) but i bought a losi grappler pro online and when it showed up it was precut and predrilled. did everyone elses grappler pro come with predrilled holes in the sides? i was planning on doing a big logo on the sides of my truck but the stupid rear holes fall right in middle of where the logo would be

Wow...that sucks. I guess I'll stick with the original Grappler.

Default Really

Why would they pre-drill these bodies? Damn that was a bad move on their part, because this will limit the amount of people that would have bought those bodies. It really doesn't matter to me, because I only run the Proline Chevy C-10 bodies on my crawler. Can't go wrong with a Chevy!

im a fan of chevy's and thats one of the better one i have heard.

yea i wouldnt have ordered the body if i knew the holes were predrilled. now im going to have to get one of those 72 chevy bodies. did you guys have to hack the body to clear the tires or is it pretty well set up. i can buy the chevy body from my LHS i just dont want to spend another $27 on a body that isnt going to work

I have a AX10 ARTR, and the C-10 fit perfect. By the way your making the right choice going with the Chevy. Well if you wanted to save some money you know you could cover those holes with Decals. That will give you the serious comp rig look.

lol

i grew up in a 72 chevy pickup. thats what my Pap's mechanic would say when we would take it in.

had it for years, and my dad sold it with the attached camper to a guy few years back.

the guy ended up screwing in the wrong adapther to the butain stove and lights, (i think he tried to tie in a propain tank to a butain system...)got drunk lit a cig and killed himself and my dads truck.
