Default Attaching body question: (Lexan or ABS)

Alrighty, I've been wondering how you mount a body without seeing mounting posts nor clips.? I've seen it done many a time - Cause I'm getting a Tamiya FJ40 (CC-01) and don't want the clips showing as I'm gonna be trying my first scale rig. I've seen another very deatailed and scale blue FJ40 (CC-01) on youtube and there isn't anything showing on whats holding it to the chassis.

Can anyone point me in the right direction,
-Tom

I asked this question quite a while ago. I found on a clodbuster racing forum that they were using velcro. Here's a link to me asking how to do it and someone responded with pictures.

Hmm, Velcro eh. Didn't think of that.

Thank you for the link, I see how that would work

Anyone else have thoughts or knowledge?

Theres is some monster velcro-like stuff out there. Dont know the name or where to get it. Saw it put on an MT the size of a Revo, Maxx, or Savage. Stuff grabs so well, you can pickup the rig by the body. I will see if I can track it down.

I have seen body posts screwed to aluminum plate then double sided taped to the body then shoo-gooed from underneath. If its ABS you could use styrene instead of aluminum and glue it to the body, which in turn melts the plastics together so it becomes solid.

What i would like to know is how you line up a custom body mount so its just right. If you're drilling holes or using velcro, or anything, how do you place the body so it isn't out of alignment with the chassis/wheels? It all seems very seat-of-the-pants to me and the opportunity for screwing it up such that fixing it would be a real trial, seems endless.
