| Krakkers new "Killah".
Went marble again and kinda kept the same colors witha few added twists to the grafix. I outlined some of the lines (like the hood and windows) with a sharpie. Looks a lot nicer and can be touched up. The lines were clean, but I liked the defined look of the black outline, so the marker did the trick. Colors used: Met. Purple, Met. Blue, Met. Red, Met. Green, Indy Silver, Pearl White, Candy Red, Bright Red, Florecent Red, Rally Green, Bright Yellow, and Outlaw Black. I tinted the outer hood and roof lines (lightly) with Candy Red before shooting the Met. Purple (at the front) and Met. Blue (at the rear). After the wadded up plastic bag treatment, I backed it with Silver, bagged the rear section again and then used the Met. Red & Bright Red. Gives it a transition effect and doesn't look just 2 dimentional. The Punisher Skulls are a light basting of Pearl white then Silver, and the slash's on the hood are Florecent Red backed by Bright Red. The Blue on the hood was supposed to be darker, I should have shot a heavier coat before bagging it. It was supposed to look darker like the back. Side windows look alot Red'r than they are, (must be the light) they a light Candy Red. Last edited by Krakker; 05-29-2010 at 08:00 AM. |

Not to be mean, but that reminds me of my throw up after I eat mexican for dinner, drink a bunch of weird shots then get denny's later in the night. Clean lines though. Well some of them. |

wicked style but yes that body is not legal with it folded under like that. it is barely legal before you even fold it. thats why i wish that they would have gotten rid of it instead of the old grappler.

Yeah I'll check it out when I get close to mounting it on the chassis. I'm gonna have to cut up the lower rear section pretty good to give room for the GC my modded TAG "slant" chassis' got now. I was making sure to keep the height good for now. The pics aren't the greatest, it looks much better in the right light, but heck yeah, it's funky. The Skull and bio-hazard grafix are T1E masks. (jsut wanted to make sure I give'm the props. I really like the original grappler body but wanted to try something different. It's really close to the grappler pro, but I like the detail a bit more. I tried marbling with some different background colors other than silver and white and backing them (light coats) with silver. The Metalic Green backed with Rally Green is a really cool color. (My wife wants her Jeep TJ painted this color now.) |

for scalers the fine point sharpy works best, and then if you want chrome stripping around the windows i use a silver sharpie works great. sorry for the thread jack, i love the marble though. it looks awsome. | |
