Plastic Filler
 

I recently started a project using styrene and I saw on another guy's post that he was using plastic filler. Is there any specific brand or product i could use to fill the gaps with on my build?

use a body glaze rather than body filler, filler leaves more air pockets, that you'll have to deal with. when done use a good primer, and paint, so has less chance of scratching off from the body glaze. I use krylon h2o paint,seems to work the best

I use more styrene (shavings, small pieces, round stock for holes, ect.) If it is something small you can use shavings and keep soaking them with tenax or similar with a brush periodically. The shavings will start to melt together and into the area you are filling. Over do it a little and when it is dry, sand away! Bigger areas I build up with larger material untill I have small areas to fill. Hope this helps you out some. I think Pantablo had a video of doing this method on youtube at one time.

X2, I used to use MMD Green putty, which doesnt work bad, but experianced builders just fill the holes with shavings and sanded styrene. It looks cleaner.
