Paint ideas for a CGR Blazer?

I've wanted one of these for awhile now, and one is on it's way courtesy of RPP Hobby . I can never decide what colors to use, so now's the time to post up your ideas or pictures. So come on, let's see some shots of yours or suggestions for a color scheme! I'm going for a simple, classic look, if that helps.

I say a classic blue an silver 2 tone using the original body lines

Nice "thumbsup". I was thinking maybe orange and white? Something bright, anyway...

Anyone else wanna jump in and show us what you got?

Super 08-17-2010 12:48 AM

My cousin had a red and black one, not real bright but cool as hell. I think you should paint it like team3six that's cool.

YOU CAN DO IT!;-)

The scaler is mine...and the full size Jimmy belongs to "chip_cross" here on the boards...he posted the pic of his Jimmy when he came across my build thread.

Blackvelvet 08-21-2010 07:41 PM

Love the Red one with tribal grapics. Is there a build thread on that?.
Gotta build a Blazer at some stage.

When I was on a downer with my 1:1 Custom Chevy G10 shorty, I was gonna swap it for an ol K5 Blazer.
Got a huge telling off from my daughter, so never happened.

TrailDawg362 08-22-2010 07:17 PM

Great pics, everyone! I have the CGR body now, along with the new Pro-line undercarriage/tray fresh from RPP . Still undecided which route to go, so I'll let it rattle around in my head for awhile :lmao:.

I'm diggin' the orange and white, BTW "thumbsup"

Hey bayarea, I really like the "Ted Nuggent" style paint job. And 3 6s is awesome as well."thumbsup"

bayareaaxial 08-24-2010 02:10 PM

thats exactly what it was painted after his bronco but I am more of a chevy guy sooo

Super 08-25-2010 09:18 AM

Traildawg, you gonna have that Blazer ready for Taylors Falls? That would be sweet!

TrailDawg362 08-25-2010 09:59 AM

I wish . It's just barely a roller at this stage, but I might have to steal the Super Swampers off her to run on the other Blazer for test purposes .

Edit: The undercarriage pan doesn't fit the CGR Blazer body, too short .
