| Proline Jeep JK body
Thought I'd post a few pics of my new JK body that one of the local guys (Tim C) painted up for me.. It's a stock SCX-10 kit with CKRC 1.9 alum beadlocks that I had on my MRC. I used the supplied Flatirons for now. It's got a CC Sidewinder micro and a HH Handwound 25T with a 16t pinion. The paint is a customer blend that Tim did to try and match my 1:1 08 JK. which is Red Rock Candy Pearl.. He matched it almost exactly!!! The plan is to get RC4WD JK wheels with probably the TSL swampers and then trick it out with some accessories... Will also be looking to see if I can find an interior that I can put in it too.. They are the 1.9 Flat Irons that come with the SCX-10. I might even try some Rok Lox.. They will be taller I think...

Kool, cheers for that. For some reason i thought the JK body was suited to 2.2s,but the 1.9s dont look to small. Sort of stock standard looking.

I just picked up some Rox Lox. They are taller than the flatties. We'll see how they work

So here's a pic with the Rox Lox on.. They are a bit taller and may require some trimming.. But I think they look really good Last edited by jkwrangler08; 08-20-2013 at 10:23 AM. |

Looks awesome! So is your wheelbase like the original kit, TR, or Honcho? |

Not going to get to wild with this chassis as I've got another short wheel base Nikko TJ (10") that's my basher.. The main goal with this chassis is keeping it close to what a stock Jeep or pickup could do. It will be waterproof though... That was my #1 goal | |
