the short course bodies are way to wide fro a scx-10, maybe w/ wheel wideners.

your best bet size wise would be a hpi trophy body.

i guess maybe some of the more "experienced" body guys could try to cut about a 1/2" from the middle & glue it back together. it might look more to "scale" maybe....

maybe try the 1/12 hpi trophy truck body.

almost any 1/10 short course body will be too big.

Default wtf

why the hell would anybody want to put a trophy truck body on a rock crawler chassis. I guess its good to build the worlds slowest trophy truck.
My opinion is if you want a slash body go buy a slash and have fun. I have never seen a trophy truck go crawlin before

what also works is the lexan Ford F650 crew cab bodies for nitros. set one on my honcho this past weekend and its damn close! the dodge crew cab's would work too.

i got an HPI jeep rubicon body that i was going to use for my nitro but have now decided that its going on the honcho. just gotta do a little bit of trimming its good to go.

How many VW Bug crawlers have ya seen in your life? But yet its one of the most common and desired bodies for rockcrawlers..
Its the dudes truck, let him do to it what he wants.

I don't want to do it. I just saw a bunch posted here and wondered to myself "Why (and how) is someone using a SCT body on a crawler?" The obvious escaped me. They are posting SCT bodies (on a crawler site) for SCTs!!!!

There is a proline body for a rustler that will fit the way you want.

i personally think it would look pretty cool (if the body wasn't so wide). with a 27t motor or lower i think the truck would be fast enough for a "basher" speed for someone who would like to have something that could go realistic fast & still do some crawling... but i'm new to all this & don't know what is "supposed" to be done. i would be the oddball that would make my "crawler" look like i think is "cool".

Default Oh it can be done

hey bud dont listen to all these people that say why would you do that! i totally put a proline shortcourse body on my scx10 but to make it a perfect fit i had to do 2 things, first of all extend the rear axle to fit the wheel base and then just run 2.2 axial wheels and BAM you done go check it out
