Bug/tar remover or paint thinner."thumbsup" |
I use Acrysol at work, I have NEVER had it remove anything I didn't want it to. I have used it on everything from marker on car paint, to tar on plastic trim pieces. Leave no residue whatsoever, never discolores. You can get it in a spary can too. http://parliamentcoach.com/osc/image...L%20LIQUID.gif |
I have good luck with motor spray!:ror: |
i put some gas on a cloth and it takes two wipes and its gone, i have had worse and it works every time |
I use label, sticker remover that you buy at napa, autozone. Works great |
You can also use some zippo lighter fluid. |

I have had luck using the sticky side of duct tape. Stick it to the sticky residue and pull it off quickly. |
Hand Cleaner like Go-Jo |
be careful with something like googone on lexan, it will fog it. Whatever you use try it on a small patch to see how it reacts. |
use Oups, its wayyyyy better than goo gone. Ive used it to take sticker residue off my 1:1 truck and worked great! |
RainX antifog |

goo gone works for me |
I'm surprised to find that no one has said anything about the hair dryer trick. To remove decals and stickers from any of the bodies I have had......I just take a hair dryer and heat up the sticker/decals and you can just pull them right off, 9 times out of 10 theres no mess left. "thumbsup" Give it a try next time. |
