| 1ST attempt @ paint and trimming lexan
alright, so i've never painted or trimmed a body before and hoping this is going ok?I painted from the outside because i want to paint the inside a primer. i'm not done but i tried to cut with scissors and the paint would chip off in big chunks so i grabbed the dremel w/a drum sander and it works much better. you can see where i tried my hand @ painting by hand but quit. it seems my hand is not as steady as i thought it was, i'll finish those areas but wanted to trim the body for now and hand paint the rest once trimmed. i figured once i got the meat of the lexan off i could go back with a finer drum and finish the edges. |

Not bad i like the idea of the primer to the inside. Little pointer: its always better if you mount and trim the body before painting so things such as paint chipin off dont happen. to fine edge window trims an ect. liquid mask is a good source as well Ive seen some peoples first paint work a total mess... not bad for the first time! |

Also on cuttin out a body, get a razor blade and score along the cut line, and then bend it, it will hit the cut line and come of super smooth, no need for scissors. Before paint also |
