Ha, the masking was done very carefully. I used liquid mask and just did each section at a time. The biggest pain was that the mask would pull off some of the black paint from the outline and - would have to touch it all up. Look for lid only pics soon. |

It is a paint pen. It's on the inside. The. Paint pen was the first step for this body.

Just got the body, and it's better than I expected! Awesome work, Brian! It was very well packed, and shipped insured. So if anyone is looking for paint work to be done, I can strongly recommend Brian! Not cheap, but fairly priced for what you're getting. Once I have it mounted, I'll post some pix. It may be a couple days, but I will post pix. Thanks again Brian! |

Here are some belated pix of my new SteamPunk Hardline body: The pix don't do it justice. It looks so hot, that I've ordered another, this one will be a custom layout, with some shading on the gold. Probably using some shade of blue as the base color instead of maroon. I put a couple of stickers on this one (very few, not to obscure the paint) to be used as a user (mostly comp) body, but the new one will be for shelf-queen duty. Brian did a helluva good job! |
