Default where to buy .060" diamond plate...........

looking to make a tool box for the bed of my chevy build and can't find .060" thick styrene dia plate........bob

They don't make any that thick(to my knowledge). Most diamond plate sheets are vacuum formed. Build the box with plain .060" and skin it with diamond plate.

i looked at every piece of dia plate at tower and all is thin, maybe i'll keep looking but nada so far ....yeah i was thinking that was the way, but i seen a picture of some bodys tool box they made and it was thick diamond plate styrene....i don't remember what thread i seen it in so i can't find it to ask the poster .........bob

Plastistruct makes the diamond plate styrene panels as does Evergreen Plastics. I think I have some in .020 that I use as a veneer, it works well.

i have some evergreen double diamond 1/16 scale from tower in .010" maybe .020"....trying to save lamin'in them to together ...........bob

Oops, sorry I didn't realize you wanted it that thick. I don't know if they even make it that thick. You may want to just try gluing the regular diamond plate sheets to .060 styrene.
