Default proline cgr bronco body pics

Hey, I just bought a cgr bronco body and can't wait to get started painting it. The cage is what made me pull the trigger...well, that and the$ 30 price tag with all stickers and window masks and some other goodies. It will be finished in white with a blue rearend. I'm looking for pics of cgr bronco bodies that are finished. Just trying to get an idea of what else is out there. Thanks

You going to put it on your FOFF rig? I bought the same thing, for the same price (eBay?).

I actually got two. One is going to be stock, and go on my son's Slash 4x4 with the paddle tires for the dunes. I'm going to narrow mine, narrow the cage, make it a single seat cockpit, and basically chop it down to be as minimal as possible on my Slash 4xFOFF rig. I think it's a perfect body for the FOFF rigs, and was wondering if anyone else was going to run the same body.

You got me pegged. It will be going on the foff and I got it off of ebay too, couldn't beat the price. Still not sure if I will narrow it, still haven't seen it up close yet to get the brain gears rolling. I have some 19mm wideners that should put the tires past the body sides without needing to cut too much. If it breaks more stuff or looks funny to me...out will come the knife and scissors. Im gonna paint it like the "Lightfoot" (search it) foff rig and slam the body down like the real deal. Finding the stickers has been a challenge (damn WD-40). Gonna have to make some of them myself, shouldn't be too difficult, I don't think anyhow. Hey its all in what you put into it right? When I get my hands on the body and work it all out in my head ill get to work and post progress shots. This could spin off into a whole tuber chassis build a little later, saw one somebody else started and it looked really nice...not nearly as complex as I had originally figured. Inspiring!

On my slash, I narrowed the chassis to 4.5 inches, so I'm narrowing it up to meet the sides. I'm going to get it built first, then do the body last. I have 12mm wideners and will be running 1/8 buggy wheels and XTM paddles. May not be the most scale, but it should be fun!

No, it was 15 for mine. Still steep, but when everywhere else wants $60 before shipping, I figured it was still the best deal around. Super fast shipping. Took 3 days all together after my order went through.

Got the blue painted on it but got a couple spots that got under the masking and need to be attended to before the white goes down. Also made a silver roof panel out of some .040 lexan. Threw some stickers on it and added some straws to the cage to do a quick mock-up and make the cage look more like the real deal.

Don't really know how I can attach some rod to the cage to make it resemble the real cage and actually have some strength...Any suggestions?

I will get some pics up of the current and future mods later today

Just scotch taped all the stickers on except the one on the roof panel.

I'm still unsure of how to attach the proposed additions to the cage. Thinking I might be better off making one out of tubing. Just a topper first, them maybe go for a full on tuber chassis after I cultivate some confidence in my fab skills...ha ha.
