Default My first "special" paint

Next weekend I go to the Supercrawl in Germany.
New bodypanels for my BJV4 XR10 would be great.
This is the result of my first "special" paint:

Just paint with rattle cans and mask. The yellow is not so light as I wanted.
Wanted some special effects with the red and yellow underneath.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, hand-made mask. More than 1 hour just for cutting out the mask.

Did you lay down the yellow first or last? It should have been last...

The yellow was indeed last.
The red is not backed before I paint the yellow and the Yellow is backed with red, what I heard is not the right colour.
Next time I gone read first the forum, but it was fun to make those panels.

Yep, if you want light colors to stay light, then dont back them with darker colors.

Why yellow last? Wouldn't the yellow and the red have been brighter if the yellow was first?

Anytime I have ever put a lighter color on first, then followed with a darker color, the lighter color turned out darker than I expected....
