anyone built a 79 f-150 yet
 

i just got my body and this is my favorite truck ever. so many ideas in my head right now just wanted to see if anyone had built one yet

im getting started with one now. mine is a supercab tho.

What's the wheelbase on the super cab model?

roughly 14 3/4 is what i got. im in the newbie area asking about frames for this beast as well as driveshafts. but it was too cool to pass up

either getting one of these bodies or an f-350 body for my scx-10 i love FORD!

im working on a tube chassis for my scx10 then im going to be handforming an aluminum body ( like metal masher) in the shape of a 79' F150.

I was thinking about taking one and making it into a Bronco"thumbsup":flipoff:"thumbsup"

that body looks great, i guess now i have to go and buy a couple of them now, thanks hpi...lol. oh, the real one looks great too. drove a '79 short bed in high school as my first truck, now i have a '76 long bed, not the same but close. again, nice bodies and cant wait to see more."thumbsup"

Daaang! I think these look better than the 70 Ford from Proline. I've been waiting for something like this to build a gooseneck hauler with. Like I needed another project.

Whats the wheelbase on the standard cab body?
