Default Painting my bug

I just got a proline baja bug body for my axial ax10 scorpion. So figured I'd share. Here it is out of the bag.

Here it is trimmed up for my crawler and masked off to black out the windows.

Next ill be masking it up for my two tone paint scheme. Im using all automotive paints.

Its not to bad, masking from the inside is only part I found be a pain.

Masking from the inside has always sounded hard to me too. Nice job looks great. Hope my first body turns out that good. Congrats.

One thing I've seen a LOT of people do is to use a Sharpie (marker) or pen to draw their lines on the outside of the overspray wrap, then mask the inside along those lines. It's still just kinda tough if you have monster paws and you're working inside a small body like a 1/12th scale or crawler body, or if your body has lots of ridges and curves to it.

Thanks for comments, I can see were marker would help because that's one thing is trying to follow the clear body lines gets hard to see.
