| primer and tamiya paints
Does anyone know what primers that are readily available (wal-mart) etc that you guys have successfully used as a base for tamiya spray paints for styrene/abs. I picked up all the paint colors i needed today for my paint job but neither of the local hobby shops had the tamiya primer in stock and if i order it online it has to be shipped ground which could take 3 weeks to ak, does anyone know of a good primer that works well with tamiya paints that's readily available? |

I have always used Krylon primer if you want it from wally world, they have one that is a rust color which adds to the effect when it gets scratched. I you are using light colors get a white or grey primer but if you are using a dark color then I would go with the black primer, they grey pretty much goes either way.
