| SUPER quick flame job...
This is what gets done when it's 10pm on Friday night & we're leaving at 3am Saturday morning for a comp & I have no body to run. 45 mins later...I had laid out some quick hot rod flames, threw a new blade in the hobby knife, handcut some spraymask (which was already sprayed & cured form 2 or 3 days before), blew 2 simple colors, backed it & called it good. Like I said...nothing special here but a lot of people were diggin it at the comp so I figured I'd post it up. |

Looks awesome! I wish I could produce a paint job "quickly" like that!

Yes indeed. That's a hard color combo to make look poopy. Ah yea...Man after my own heart. I don't really paint RC lids other than my own, a few cats from the club & a buddy here & there. I'm pretty much an old school pinstriper from Long Beach So Cal so a striped gangster edition lid is DEFINITELY in my future. Last edited by HARDKNOCKZ; 06-28-2011 at 06:12 PM. | |
