Question bob and drop bed question

I've never worked with styrene before, nor have I cut apart a hardbody...

I've got a Hilux body and a Rogue Elements drop bed kit. What's the best way to go about install the drop bed and bobbing the bed? Bob the bed, then cut the kit down and glue together? Or install the drop bed, then bob the whole thing as one piece?

Bobb the bed then shorten the drop bed kit.
Build the kit then cut out the floor of the bed and drop the assembled kit down thru the hole in the bed where the bed floor use to be.
