Default Dynamic Concepts T4 Spy Pics

Kurt, from Dynamic Concepts asked if I could shoot one of their new T4 bodies that they are getting ready to release for the Team Associated T4. I was thrilled to get a chance to lay some paint down on one of these. I went with a checkered flag look with mutli colored swoops. Along with the checkered flag, I used some riveted carbon fiber accents. It also has a rear wing that was done in carbon fiber, but was still too fresh to mount to the body at the time. Now, I did promise some spy pics, so here you go.

Jason, the paint scheme is incredible.

The Team Associated T4 trucks are an acquired taste............

The bodies currently available are a boxy trophy-truck style body. I like the curves of this body, and what can be done with a paint scheme, adhering to the chassis design they fit on.

Your paint is awsome as usual but I'm not to sure about the body itself.

The main proportions of wheel openings to body mass are well done with the very short front overhang and long rear overhang creating a sense of weight and power over the rear wheels. Classic of powerful rear wheel drive vehicles. The jet fighter canopy shaped drivers compartment begins to ad a very modern aerodynamic shape, but actually become cliche and is then abruptly terminated by the oddly shaped rear roll bar which has no continuity to the rest of the vehicle and distracts from the overall contours of the vehicle. The rear shock tower forms are unresolved and ruin the strong shoulder line at the rear of the vehicle. The shoulder lines flows forward nicely onto the hood and down to form the grill but the hood is then ruined by the misplaced out of proportion hood scoop. Though I understand the shock towers must be cleared, this is a poor solution. Finally the lack of surface definition, part lines and resolved details leave the design unrefined and unfinished.

So what you are saying is you don't like the body?

Paint came out sick!

Body is not my style but I'm sure some out there like it.

Is that body ROAR leagal?? I think there is a reason the bodies currently avalible are boxy looking are do to the rules..... Id have to look it up tho.

edit: after doing a search I guess its not too far off of the Jconcept punisher body and Proline bull dog body.
