Not exactly ground breaking since they already had the 2pc version, which they discontinued. Personally, I like the options with the 2pc. As long as we are bring back discontinued bodies how about the CJ8... |

When they said full bed, I thought that they put a drop bed on it. Nope, its the usual tonneau cover look.. It cant be that hard to mold in a bed on trucks. Rc4wds Yota body has a dropped bed so its been done in lexan. Oh well. Not a bad lookin body otherwise

I think I'm going to build a an SCX10 Jeep Comanche as my tow rig for a trailer and crawler. This forum is just full of ideas on what to do with ALL your disposable income.

| I agree, Dying for a nice drop bed. One that's molded and not modified.

A full depth drop bed would difficult to vacuum form. Not saying it can't be done, but it's tough

| Probably wouldn't work since 2dr and 4dr 1:1 Cherokees have the same wheelbase. If they did what you suggest one of them would wind up looking out of proportion.

I'm sporting a Cherokee body right now, and would really dig a SWB Commanche. So, whos going to be the first to shorten the bed on one so it fits the same 11.4 inch wheelbase as the Cherokee? Looks like there is just barely enough bed to cut down and make the rear tires right behind the cab, maybe? And I also agree that a Scrambler body would rock. |
