| What styrene thickness to use?
I have been doing some searches on here but have not found what I am looking for. I am starting a crew cab f350 build and it's my first attempt what thickness of styrene should I use for the roof skin and drop bed ect. Thank you for all of your help, --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=41.204040,-112.077972 1.9 Jeep TJ Scaler Axail SCX10 Ford F-250 Tube Rear Scaler Sent from my iPad |

I'm fairly new to the styrene myself, but what I have been told is that the more curves and contours you have the less thickness you need, and the more weight/abuse you are putting on it the more you need. .04 or .06 are typical. I use everything from .02 to .06 depending on the situation. This shell has .06 for the outer fenders and floor, .04 for the inner fenders, and assorted thinner pieces here and there for trim. |

Is there certain type of glue that's recommended?

there are various brands, but no matter what you want a "solvent" based glue that actually melts the styrene slightly so the pieces bond into one solid piece.
