Hummer bodies I know this has probly been posted a hundred time before but, what scale new bright hummer bodies are guys using? |
1:6 Scale, same as the jeep JK."thumbsup" |
The most common body I have sen used is the Radio Shack Hummer body. Its wheel base is about 11.5. There is the smaller New Bright 1/10th model that fits nicels on a CC01 or a smaller scale chassis. THen yes there is the new bright 1/6th one which is larger than the 1/8 scale JK a lot of guys are using. There is also the Tamiya Hummer body that can be modified to work. Here is a picture of the Radio Shack one I built awhile ago and a Tamiya Hummer from awhile ago. The radio shack one can be found with blacked out windows or with interiors. http://i663.photobucket.com/albums/u...er/rsqh1-1.jpg http://i663.photobucket.com/albums/u...mer/rsqh1b.jpg http://i663.photobucket.com/albums/u...hummer/h2c.jpg |
I have a Nikko Hummer h1. I think it is a civilian version. WB 11.0 Width 8 just perfect for 1/10 scale. Evan |
I just used the Proline H2 body and am running 1.9 tires. http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...e/100_0345.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...100_0353-1.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...100_0351-1.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...100_0350-1.jpg |
