Default Any tips for pinching a lexan body?

So I've been looking around and have noticed alot of people pinch the nose and dovetail the rear of there lexan bodies. But I can't seem to find any info on it. I'm looking to do my first pinched body and would rather not destroy the thing!
Thanks
Rc

My way may not be the prettiest, but it works...
I section body to the desired width, then stick together underneath with scrap lexan and servo tape. Then, I shoe goo the entire joint and press in drywall mesh . Makes a very strong bond. Any imperfections topside I fill with CA glue and sand smooth.
Only drawback is you gotta paint the outside, but, I prefer the realistic trail rash look anyway

Sorry, I got no pics of the process, but here is a Chevy Pick-up body I modified for my sons Wraith

Haven't tried, but JB weld would likely be a good alternative to the shoe goo.

JB Weld is brittle, it would likely flake off easily as the Lexan flexes. I have used Shoe Goo with great results

shoo goo and the mesh style drywall tape (NOT the masking/paper tape shit) it's like flexible fiberglass, the drywall mesh is very strong and the shoo goo acts as a flexible resin.

(I go around the entire perimiter of my short course race truck shells, and around the holes in the body for the posts aswell, body's last FOREVER now. (not literaly forever but way longer))
