what kind of paint what kind can i use, and how many coats do i need? can I use the testors model paint (spray for body and brushed on for smaller detailed areas) or wont that stuff work? |
If it's a lexan body (think Pro-line Racing), use paint made for polycarbonates such as PS paints from Tamiya. If it's a hardbody like a New Bright, then you can use regular paints. Whichever one it is, the surface has to be prepped right or the paint won't come out like you're expecting. PS Paints are the left hand column: http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/medi...art%202010.jpg |

Any brand lexan paint is what you want. Parma, Faskolor, and Tamiya for lexan all work well. |
