I have used it on all of my hard bodies and it worked very well. Here's just a couple I've used it on. bmuzz1's 2011 class 2 Range Rover build bmuzz1's SCX Hilux Build bmuzz1's Jeep JK build |

The only issue for me with fusion is that it is not shiny. It acts more like a dye than paint, IMO.

You can always top-coat it in glossy clear if you want the dripping wet look. Fusion has always been good to me, seems to be more durable than other paints (as in chips or scratches less easily.)

I primed my hard body with krylon fusion and it stuck very well, even after lots of abuse it still looked good, I never got around to painting it. covers very well too, this is a black monster patrol body (photo is after several hours of driving in all sorts of conditions) |

X2 with topcoat... here in florida "valspar hi gloss laquer" works great and stands up against scratches if you spray it in light coats. Also: If you use a blow dryer on medium heat, it will "flash" so you can put clear coats on faster. |

I used that stuff on my JK build. It holds up good but it stinks! The smell is going away but it's still there. I had a few people say, what's that smell? when they picked it up. Freshly painted poser shot. |

Wow! now this is the type of response I'm talking about! Thanks guys helped me a lot. I ordered a 1:10 scale FJ on Amazon and wanting to paint it blue when it gets here. hopefully this weekend... One question tho, did you guys have to sand then prime? just sand? just prime? or none of those but just paint? Thanks guys... I like seeing all these pics...I was kind of debating whether itd work...but after seeing your guy's work gives me hope |

Painted with fusion, no clear coat - didn't see a need for it. 1 coat primer, 2 coats paint each color. Came out awesome! |

I just sanded down with 80 grit and then hit it with some 200grit or close to that. No primer cause I am lazy about painting!

some fusion colors come in satin & gloss, may explain why someone didn't get the shine they were looking for but just FYI, make sure you get the one you are after.
