Default svt raptor scale build

I'm thinking about starting a scale svt raptor build for my Crawler king. I was looking at the j-concept slash body wheelbase is right where I need it, body is 20.5 which isnt to bad. Has anyone tried this before

If you do find one, post where you got it. I'm wanting to do one as well on an SCX chassis.

why not try the Pro line Raptor for the revo 3.3. Looks a whole lot more scale than a slash body will ever be. mine is on creeper axles which are a bit wider than axials so it would probably work with the WKs WB is 13.3in and its perfect 1/10 to the 1:1 at 133 in

idk about the wk but i also think the PL Raptor has the more scale look over other raptor bodies. here's mine on an scx10 too

Are you comparing a short course body to a raptor pick up? Both are very cool.

Pretty much

If you were to comepare the Slash raptor body

VS AKbash and my Proline raptors

to the real thing

The pro line bodys are way more proportional so if your gonna build a raptor. Get the PL and go for it

I think that New Bright has put out a raptor, that would probably be the best for a scale build.

I've seen both by New Bright...the 1:10th and the 1:6th.

the 1:6" is VERY huge....unless youre trying to make a 1:6th scale crawler...and extending the chassis by more than 3-4" inches, you might opt for that.

the 1:10" is a bit on the small side. If i remember correctly, the 1:10th new bright has a wheelbase of 9" maybe 9.5" if we're lucky. The body actually looks more like 1:12" scale.

If you want a SVT Raptor...I still say go Proline. Anything other than the PL just doesn't feel right to me....

FYI...if you guys want a hardbody Raptor I was at Fry's Electronics for black Friday and New Bright has a 1:6 which is perfect for an SCX10 chassis but you'd probably want to use Wraith axles.

Ford Raptor R, F-150 Raptor, 1:6 Scale, 27", 6689

They also have a 1:10 version available as the LR3 Discovery or smaller Raptor with a goofy looking bed. I think wheelbase on New Bright's 1:10 is around 10.5" someone please verify. These hardbodies usually fit nicely on a chopped SCX10 chassis or CC-01 stretched chassis!

Ford Raptor, R/C Trucks, 1:10 Scale, 15", 61089
