Default Powdercoating Beadlocks

Paint is a no go obviously but would powder coating hold up to abuse on some beadlocks?

I removed the green anodized and ran them as a bare finish. Like it but figured i would change it up. Sprayed one beadlock with black rattle can and i love the look. But its just going to get scratched all to hell while on rocks.

Powdercoat is tough but will also take damage. The thing to think about when powdercoating is touch up. You can't touch up PC and have it look the same. Personally, I like the look of beat-up Powdercoat, but if you want to retouch, it's not your thing.

Have any pictures of new and beat up beadlocks that have been powde rcoated?

I think im just going to paint them and let it scratch off what it does. See how i like it and either wire wheel them down and run bare aluminum or try something else.

Probably your best bet. You can always powder coat them later, and removing the paint won't be that hard.

Powder coat is deff the way to go, I powder coat all my rigs tube chassis, and scx frames. It holds out alot longer than paint. Its not indestructable, but all you have too do is scuff them and re-coat them.
