That's a Parma PSE bug body.

PARMA/PSE 1/10 BUG w/Wing - Clear Body

Not sure on Parma's attention to detail or their lexan thickness durability. I would go with Proline's bug bodies. Mine has survived 2 seasons of comps and the only thing that is a bit weak is the hood to the A-pillar which I patched up.

Heres pics:

CKRC has thicker bug bodies but the rear window is split which is not a licensed VW body but it's all personal preference!

Thats a different body all together. After some more research it appears that I'm looking for an HPI body which is hard to find.

Thanks! I've looked through the thread with only bugs, and really want to find this HPI body. I'm not a huge fan of the detailed engine, if I do go that route I will cut it off.

That bug body was made by HPI for the E-Savage. HPI quit making them due to licensing issues with VW. If you find one for sale you will be lucky I have seen them go for over $50.

Below is a picture of mine. I also have 1-2 of them NIP.

It is an HPI though and the body was really thick Lexan, but it didn't like to flex like other bodies, really just crack on hard hits.

I think it was called a TT...

Yep It was for the HPI savage called the Baja TT."thumbsup"

Dang you beat me! :)

I never realized the HPI MT bug had a motor that could be attached. I guess I should open one of the ones I have and look at it. I bought 2 of those and haven't ever taken them out of the package.

I didn't know that as well , bought a few about a year ago and started to build one. The back end has a dished section but looks better than the engine hanging out?
