Default Ghost flames for nu 2 tha game

Nu 2 tha game wanted a Parma X-Citer done in black with pearl charcoal ghost flames. The roll bar was done in chrome and Fastint was used on the windows. Here's a few pics.

so what did you do to get the flames on there? Masked them off use a translucent pearl and then peel the mask and spray the base? That paint job is so clean and understated that i wanna try my hand at it. Im sure my attempts wont come out as nearly kicka$$ as that though. As me and my buds like to say, "AwesomeSauce!" There must be something in those paint fumes that give inspiration.

Agreed. This looks great. The whole look of so many facets of RC is a bit...well jumbled IMHO. How many times do we see short course trucks or buggies, and even the comp crawlers with a nasty combination of Scallops, flames and some sort of checkered flag into blobs. Many of the artists are just painting what the customer wants, and that's sad. We're not all 11 year old kids, but to look at so many of the bodies out there, you'd swear we are.

Well hey, I do act like an 11 year old despite being 37, but my sense of style isn't some nasty smashup of Nascar and Boyd Coddington

Wow I just realized how old this thread is. Still an awesome paint job, guess im gonna hae to by some new colors and figure it out for myself. Thats what the inside of 2 liter bottles are for, practice so you dont screw the pooch with a 30 to 50 dollar body LOL
