|  How do i remove paint from rc roll cage/frame
HOw do i remove paint from a axial wraith tube frame/ rollcage? I got a used wraith and the whole cage was painted and was chipping so i want to take it all off and not sure how cause fine sand paper and flat head screw driver is taking forever lol

From what I've read on various forums, brake fluid is the ticket(dot 4). It seams to work on lexan and hard bodies, it just needs to soak for a day or two. You might want to do some tests before you try your frame. |

I just bought some paint remover for plastics the other day at my local hobby shop. Its called Scalecoat 2. I used it on a Og Bruiser body that had 7 layers of paint. and It worked way better than Brake fluid and grease lighting. and the body came out looking like new! But the down fall is thats its $12 a Quart.

I've stripped paint and chrome from plastic with good old Easy-Off yellow top ... perfectly safe on plastic.

Castrol Purple Power works well too. That's what I used to soak all my models in when I bought builtups from other people.
