Default Pro-Line vs. Tamiya Land Cruiser

I have searched and come up with either or but nothing comparing, is there a size difference in the bodies? If I have a tube chassis built for the pro-line body, will the Tamiya be close enough to work?

I have the proline bushwacker body. And I believe it's a little bigger than the Tamiya FJ body. Which I think is a little more true to scale. I could be wrong. If you're going to trim out the fenders or make it a truggy, it should work. I could be wrong anyone wanna chime in?

The wheelbase on the Tamiya FJ is quite abit shorter. Like howsyour said if you were going to truggy it or dont mind shortening the wheelbase it will work. I belive if you wanted to get the wheels lined up nicely in the wheelwells you are going to end up with about a 9 or 9.5 wheel base. Bringing a Honcho (12.5) or Dingo(11 or 11.5) down to that wheelbase is alot, but it can be done.*EDIT* The back of the frame would also stick out past the rear of the body. All of this applies to a SCX-10 based rig.

cab forward, it shouldn't matter either way. Tamiya is much more accurate to the old landcruiser body style.

Can anyone provide a photo for comparison of the two bodies and there size difference? The bushwacker is more to scale?
