|  Removing paint on outside body?
I want to repaint my body sometimes tonight and i was wondering what the easiest way to remove paint to bare lexan again? Here's a picture of it. lol  |

It was time for a new paint job. I get bored with paint jobs quick. lol. Does anyone know whwere I can buy decals for the cherokee? I took to my shop and took a mini da with 320 grit and sanded it down on some area and then red scotch brite the body to give it a smoother feel. I primer it then I painted it yellow. Yellow wasnt really cutting it so i put some blue and gray textured look to it. Something different I guess... Pictures.      |

For future reference, use dot 4 brake fluid. Make sure it is dot 4. Dot 3 which is more common doesn't work as well.

I've used this stuff Testors » Accessories » Decals » ELO Paint & Decal Remover 8oz. on various types of plastic before and it works great. Doesn't attack the underlying surface at all. Not sure how effective it would be on Lexan, but sounds safer than using brake fluid.
