Default Drivers for my rigs.

I've started a new project. I think my rigs need drivers.

Does anyone here remember Larry and Vince, the crash test dummies from the TV PSAs?

You know... "you could learn a lot from a dummy, buckle your safety belts"

I want to have Larry and Vince as my drivers, I couldn't find any 1/10 scale dummies, I found lots in other sizes. So this is what I have come up with.

I found some Tron Legacy figures that look like they might be a good base for my project.

I'll try to get some work done on all my projects and get some pictures up this weekend.

I noticed these little figures at Hobby Lobby and thought they looked like the crash test dummies.

At 7 1/2" tall they are the right scale, and very flexible too.
Price is not bad either.

PS: ignore what the link reads as, I checked it and it works.
They are wooden figures used in drawing.

I picked up the pair of tron figures for $11 after shipping, but if I need more crash test dummies, 7.99 each isn't bad.

The tron figures are 4" 7" and 12", there is an 8" Wooden Manikin from Hobby Lobby here
Deprecated Browser Error for 5.99

Or if you do a search on eBay for ( 9" figure ) in the Toys section, you will find a ton of characters you can use,

Uh... I love reinventing the wheel too, but Does anybody else remember playing with the Crash Test Dummies action figures in their misspent childhood?

Crash Test Dummies

They're out there, try hitting up your favorite auction sites. I think they were about 6" tall, and you may wanna rework their torso so that your scaler having a yardsale crash doesn't involve picking up body parts. (unless someone in your group has an ambulance body)

All the crash test dummies I can find are 3.5 inch tall figures. Way too small.
